Applied psychology

This well established book selects various themes in psychology, places them into context and then discusses established theories and current research. This ensures that psychology is brought 'down to earth' and students can see the applications of the discipline and possibly discover what branch of psychology they may follow in their career. The authors are all experienced practitioners and lecturers in psychology, and they each discuss their own branch of the subject, looking at questions such as: *What do clinical psychologists do? *What is offender profiling? *What are the educational implications of Piaget's theory? *What is environmental psychology? *What is the future of educational psychology? *Is there a sporting personality?
