Real-time systems and programming languages Upplaga 2

Building on the success of the first edition, this comprehensive book explores how real-time programming techniques are used in applications, such as robotics, factory automation and control. It is critical for these systems that the software is developed reliably and is capable of responding in 'real time' to changes in its environment. This book is a significant contribution to the development of this discipline and particular emphasis is placed on language primitives and their role in the production of safe and dependable software.   This book will be invaluable to Final Year and Masters students in Computer Science and related disciplines, as well as professional software engineers and real-time systems engineers.
