Back From Beyond is an autobiography by a humorist on a journey to discover The Meaning Of Life, his Life Mission and Life Purpose. A traumatic accident resulted in: an arm amputation, Death – Near Death – Out-of-body-experiences (OBEs), Ego/Vanity destruction, reincarnation, past-life-regressions, guilt elimination, visions, epiphanies, an insatiable desire for knowledge, taking responsibility for whatever occurs, not fearing death, and dealing with body-brain-mind-soul-spirit issues. Over 25% of the population admits to having OBEs. Twenty million people in the US are disabled in some fashion. Everyone has deja vu and most people have some belief in prophecy. Most people have been to funerals and felt/saw/sensed visitation from the departed. A vast majority of people believe in “Life After Death.” This book helps to explain in simple, humorous stories how and why these things occur and how beliefs are formed. The book is written from personal experience with a “Third Party” (OBE) view, applying “Common Sense” and the “KISS” principle to make the revelations it contains easy to understand. Lance uses a “Conversation Style” questioning and answering the “Reader.” As a result of his experiences he is a humorist and story teller, which makes Back From Beyond a fun read. His background in Education makes this book educational with specific objectives. This combination produces an oxymoron, a fun/educational book. When we look at anything, our view is “biased” by our perspective, perception and emotions – the box we see life through. The objective of the book is to take you outside your box of reference or at least let you know you have one. Life built the box, but the box tends to limit the amount of truth we allow ourselves. From the standpoint of Out of Body Experiences (OBEs), life makes much more sense. Anyone, at anytime, could have an OBE based on extreme fear, traumatic injury, Death/Near Death Experience, giving birth, during unconsciousness or during sex. In fact, everyone has a “One-A-Day” OBE, because every time you go to sleep your Soul lifts off for a “coffee break” in the sky – actually a review and planning session.
